Vernon and JanDell Hemmert of Paris, Idaho, are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Connie Shanelle to Trace Bracken Sayama, son of Doug Sayama and Julie Olsen of Hyrum, Utah. The couple will wed in the Brigham City LDS Temple on July 28, 2018. A reception will be held that evening at the Old Rock Church located at 10 South Main St. in Providence, Utah, starting at 6:00 p.m.
Shanelle was born in Montpelier, Idaho, and raised in Paris, Idaho. She enjoyed school and sports all of her years and graduated from Bear Lake High School in 2012. She continued her education at Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake, Washington, where she played basketball , was a part of student council, and graduated with an associate's degree. After graduating college, Shanelle returned home and furthered her education as a certified foot zone therapist. She now travels all over Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming sharing her talent.
Trace was born in Logan, Utah. He grew up in Cache Valley and played baseball, basketball, and golf all through his school years. He graduated from Mountain Crest High School in 2011 and soon after served a mission in Chiapas, Mexico. After two years in Mexico, he returned to further his education at Utah State University.Â
Trace works in sales at State Farm Insurance, and Shanelle foot zones. They will be living in Logan, Utah.
